Originally a child of Werylt... She barely escaped the Garlean invasion through the coastal town as a kid.Growing up with other displaced families and orphans in Vylbrand - from the local fishing & farming, near to the City of Limsa Lominsa Limsa, which was reminiscent of their homeland. Ki'ilani always wanted to find out if the rest of her family had survived...The calling of becoming an adventurer to find her way back to her homeland seemed the best way to remedy this.Once becoming of age... Ki'ilani's journey begins through the rest of Eorzea.

Her father is full Xaela as her mother is half Xaela-half Raen. She has an older sister whose scales are reversed from hers - white but with splotches of black and iridescent in the sunlight.
- Dark scales with splotches of white. Scales become iridescent at night.- A bright personality behind a shy smile.- Tomboyish Charm.- Mainly a healer. Though would only be a Conjurer without official initiation as a white mage due to never completing the ceremonies to become one in recent times.- Oddly good with knives and daggers.- Kind and forgiving to the point it can be detrimental.- Shares control of a Shade/Voidsent that her sister possesses.
